|Peace Love Hike|
This waterfall on Dodd Creek is located in the Mark Trail Wilderness of the Chattahoochee National Forest. The trailhead is easy to access by paved roadway Alt. 75 near Helen, Georgia. Plenty of parking at trailhead but no restrooms. The trail is 5 miles roundtrip and rates as a moderate. The path is well-worn with no real directional markers. Would be difficult to get lost because you WILL see someone if you stand still for more than 3 minutes. Even with the high numbers of people visiting daily, this should not deter you from seeing these falls. There are 3 good cascades on the way out to the cliffs and final fall at Raven Cliffs. If you are seeking some privacy there is a smaller waterfall a mile beyond the parking area down the gravel road. Exercise caution and good judgment with your car. Park and cross the creek, turn right and walk 300-400 feet to reach a smaller cascade and a private spot for lunch. Peace & Enjoy your hike.
